Viceroy Miami

Happy New year! I can't believe it's been almost two years since I launched My JetSetter Life! Where has the time gone? The last 6 months have been so crazy. I purchased my first house house in July and have been non stop renovating... gut renovating. It was in a pretty bad state, mainly just cosmetic, but it's finally starting to take shape and allowing me a little more time to focus back here (I'll hopefully find time soon to add some before and after shots of the project.)

For those that may have missed the completed Viceroy project which I worked on last Summer, here are the final illustrations that were used in their "Some Like it Hot" Summer campaign. I've also included some photo's which were taken outside the entrance of the hotel and in the Restaurant 15th and Vine where four of the pieces were enlarged onto columns.

Viceroy Hotel & Spa Miami

It's been an adventurous and hectic few months here at My JetSetter Life. I Have just recently returned home from an epic roadtrip around Iceland (more to come), followed by a few days spent exploring the historic city of Boston, Massachusetts . But days before all that happened, I had to jet off to Miami last minute to work on a new and exciting project for The Viceroy Hotel & Spa-Miami.

After seeing my "Marilyn at the Avalon" illustration for the My JetSetter Life Los Angeles series, The Viceroy Miami approached me to illustrate their new Summer campaign. They very kindly flew me down for a wonderful long weekend, where I spent three blissful nights staying in one of their fabulous one bedroom suites designed by renowned interior designer Kelly Wearstler.

Throughout my stay I was treated to signature spa treatments (spa designed by Philippe Starck), fine dining at 15th & Vine (their poolside/rooftop restaurant), private cabana and champagne bottle service at FIFTY Ultra Lounge (their rooftop club/lounge 50 floors above downtown Miami) and endless days spent lounging at the incredible 300-foot infinity pool overlooking Biscayne Bay. And all I had to do was relax and get inspired.
